A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a Naval Headlines report summarising U-boat activities in the Atlantic, and reports from destroyers of the landing of survivors, wounded and prisoners in Norway. This file also includes reports of Italian naval activities; the situation on the Eastern Front; and a report from the Italian ambassador in Washington on Japanese-American negotiations.
