A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following correspondence: a discussion between the Prime Minister and First Sea Lord (ISL) regarding the action to be taken in response to reports of an Italian convoy bound for Benghazi; and a report from the Japanese ambassador in Berlin of a statement by Hitler of his intentions in the event of U.S.-Japanese conflict.
