'C', Chief of the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS): Wireless Communications; Tehran

A file of correspondence concerning the establishment of a wireless transmitter in the British embassy in Tehran. The letters discuss the arrangements for the installation of the radio set, including problems with the electricity supply, and the possibility of operating a transmitter solely off batteries; and an interim arrangement whereby radio signals from Tehran had to be relayed via Cairo.
