A file of correspondence and reports concerning the tapping of the telephones of allied and neutral embassies and governments in exile in London during the Second World War. The file includes requests and authorisations for telephone taps for the embassies of Greece, Iraq, Argentina, Spain, the U.S.S.R., and France, as well as the Polish government in exile; and a transcription of a conversation between the Polish premier and Minister of Information, in which they discuss leakage to the American press of details about the negotiations for the post-war frontiers of Poland.
