'C', Chief of the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS): Report on the Egyptian Ambassador

A report and correspondence concerning allegations that the Egyptian Ambassador to London was engaging in espionage. The report concludes that these allegations are entirely false, and were invented by a Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) interpreter, and discusses the possible methods of checking the accuracy of intelligence reports in the future. The report is accompanied by letters discussing its findings, and recommending the ending of surveillance of the Ambassador and his staff.
