These include arrangements for Winston Churchill to meet with a Swiss diplomat who had been touring prisoner of war camps in Germany; and a report of the diplomat’s observations during his travels, including the attitude of the old Prussian aristocracy to the Nazis, the possibility of their forming a new German government, the communist threat to Europe, morale in Vichy France and anti-British feeling, and his impressions of Hitler after meeting with him.
