Agents (British and Allied): Post-War Claims and Awards; Minutes of Meetings

A file of minutes for meetings concerning post-war claims and awards from allied agents in occupied Europe. The meetings considered a number of subjects, including cooperation between services and departments, and the division of spheres of responsibility; the preference of some agents for medals over financial awards; the possible creation of new medals for this purpose; the desirability of persuading other governments and foreign intelligence services such as the OSS of assuming as much of the costs as possible; the future utility of agents; and the distinctions between accredited agents and amateur helpers, and the differing awards for the two categories.
