Amongst the documents in this file are a report on the organisation and effectiveness of SOE, covering its activities and relations with other departments; a series of letters and memoranda discussing the creation and composition of a coordination committee for SOE and MI6; letters discussing the jurisdictions of the two organisations; a report on coordination of the two organisations recommending a merger; and a report produced by SOE on the lack of cooperation shown by MI6, giving examples of the damage that has been caused by this, such as the loss of intelligence agents in Denmark.
