Amongst the documents in this file are letters discussing intelligence sources in the Netherlands and Dutch alarm at the possibility of a German invasion; a report of a conversation in Washington between Norman Davis and Cordell Hull about Anglo-Japanese diplomacy, and the possibility of multilateral armaments agreements; memoranda describing intelligence on possible German secret weapons from German informants; and a report discussing the possible nature of the new German weapons, including bacterial, entomological, and chemical weaponry, gliding torpedoes, inflammable liquid, and a death ray.
