4 Jan 1909

A file of correspondence and memoranda concerning the involvement of Sir Coleridge Kennard, a British diplomat, in an adultery scandal and a subsequent divorce case. While acting as British Minister to Persia, Kennard had an affair with a Mrs. Buckley, and was later cited as a co-respondent during her divorce creating a public scandal, whereupon Kennard distanced himself from Mrs. Buckley and married another woman.
