Description

A report of a pre-war meeting between an intelligence officer and the Archduke Otto of Austria, to discuss the Archduke's opposition to the Nazis. The archduke was involved in organising opposition to the Nazis in Austria, mainly amongst the Austrian working class. Topics covered in the report include the organisation, weaponry and funding of the movement; potential activities, including passive resistance, sabotage, guerrilla warfare and the establishment of wireless communications; the possibility of British support; and the archduke’s assessment of the potential damage an Austrian resistance movement could do to the Nazis.
