A file of translations of Rudolf Hess' personal correspondence after his imprisonment, covering the months July to November 1941. Like other prisoners of war, Hess received personal correspondence via the Red Cross organisation, and British intelligence censored, copied, and translated all of Hess' incoming and outgoing letters. This file includes a number of communications between Hess, his family, and acquaintances, which reference the recent invasion of Russia and discuss a variety of family matters.
