Last September the Germans received permission to engage 100,000 unskilled Spanish agricultural labourers for work in GERMANY. Notwithstanding the terms of this permission the German recruiting officers at MADRID, BARCELONA, SEVILLE and HUELVA are not for the time being accepting unskilled applicants and are making considerable and successful efforts to engage skilled men, especially in the metal, mining and building industries by offering extremely favourable terms of employment.
