An increase of Italian S. 79 torpedo-carrying aircraft in SARDINIA is expected, bringing the total there to between 35 and 40 aircraft thus equipped. There are indications that the number of Italian torpedo-carrying squadrons in LIBYA will shortly be increased from one to two.
