4. GREECE. Reports from GREECE indicate a visit to ATHENS in the near future of General Pricolo, Chief of the Italian Air Staff. 5. THE HERMANN GOERING STEEL WORKS BRUNSWICK. On the 2nd October an extensive fire (cause unknown) was raging in the coking section of these works. Although the extent of the damage is not known, production of coke, gas, etc., must be largely suspended at least for many days and more probably for some weeks. The Hermann Goering steel works, which were one of the most advertised features of the German Four Year Plan, are still only partly developed and at present supply only about 3 per cent of the iron and steel production of German Europe.
