Ukraine Front. 5. While there is no information of any change in the KIEV area, the German advance in Southern Ukraine continues. The spearheads of this advance are moving towards the R. DNIEPER south of DNIEPROPETROWSK and the German claim to have reached NIKOPOL is probably a fairly sound indication of its extent. A drive on KHERSON to prevent further Russian withdrawal across the DNIEPER is to be expected. General. 7. Official Polish observers in MOSCOW report their impression that the civilian morale there is still satisfactory.
