SWITZERLAND. 7. The growing dependence of SWITZERLAND on Germany is clearly illustrated by the financial arrangements which are being made, in connection with the renewal of the German-Swiss Financial Agreement, to facilitate increased Swiss exports to Germany is spite of the large balance already owing by Germany in the clearing. The Swiss Government is proposing to finance the clearing claims of its exporters up to a total of 400,000,000 Swiss francs to the end of 1941 and 800,000,000 Swiss francs to the end of 1942.
