Unless this is scrap it would represent about one month's requirements at the pre-war rate of consumption. This is the first important consignment of the kind from Germany to be observed. Italian stocks of raw rubber were known to be on the verge of exhaustion at the end of 1940. SPAIN. 7. The Nachrichten für Aussenhandel has recently issued some interesting figures on the locomotive and rolling stock position in SPAIN before and after the Civil War and at the present time.
