Appreciation of the Available Reinforcements for the Yugoslav Forces in North-West Yugoslavia in the Light of Internal Security and Frontier Commitments. Report

1 Nov 1946

ANNEX 1. We note that the object of the report is to assess the number of divisions available to the Yugoslavs for reinforcements in North-West Yugoslavia, in the event of hostilities between them and the Anglo-Americans. We assume that it is for this reason that the Air and Naval aspects have been omitted, though we consider that the Yugoslav Air Force would probably play a prominent part in the early stages of any operation the Yugoslavs might undertake against the British and Americans. 2. TANK DIVISIONS Referring to 2 and 3 Armies, it is stated that each has a tank division.
