Washington C.O.S.(W) February, 1946 You should inform U.S. Chiefs of Staff that we have considered their views expressed in C.C.S.671/8 on Press Release on Radar Counter-Measures. 2. Our views are as follows:(a) We suggest that the British Radio Counter-Measures Board and the U.S. Joint Communication Board be instructed to consult and agree on:(i) A definition of the term "straightforward Radar counter-measure operations", and (ii) The Security classification of equipment which has been or may be used for Radar countermeasures.
