5. In carrying out the foregoing, the following rules will be adhered to:A. Matters on which no statement of any kind will be made without specific approval of Service Department concerned (i) Total strength of warships, troops or aircraft in a Command, theatre or station. (ii) Strength and composition of individual formations and units (iii) Items listed in paragraph 7 below, except in so far as information has already been released or is in future to be released by the Service Departments themselves on these matters.
