(g) Attempts are likely to be made by our Allies to penetrate our Secret intelligence activities. (h) Positive efforts will probably be made by certain Austrian and German elements to split the Allies by exploiting the tendency of British troops, particularly in Vienna, to listen sympathetically to Austrian criticism of the Russians. (i) It is not anticipated that the morale of our own troops will be appreciably affected by subversive influences. 4. The evidence for the above conclusions is set out in the annexed paper.
