8. It will be responsible for ensuring the co-ordination of intelligence activities within the British-occupied areas of AUSTRIA and for devising suitable machinery for the exchange and coordination of intelligence with the other national elements of the Allied Commission. Reports 9. The JIC (AUSTRIA) will report through the permanent chairman, Head of the Intelligence Branch, to the British GOC in C and Commissioner, his Deputies or to such other persons or agencies as may be designated by him.
