At Annexe A is the Directive by the Chief of Staff (British Zone) establishing the British Component of FIAT. The organization of the British component, which is exactly parallel to that of the US component, is shown at Annexe B. 5. The functions of the branches are briefly as follows:(a) Scientific and Technological, Industrial and Economic and Financial Branches are responsible for coordinating the intelligence exploitation of GERMANY within their separate spheres.
