(b) A representative of E.A.B. states that his researches have been hindered by the removal as "military documents" of material of great technical interest and value. (c) A recent statement by Brig. Maunsell that of 40 tons of documents removed by the Air Ministry as "air documents" from the Junkers factory, at least 5 tons were primarily of technical and industrial value. REMEDIES PROPOSED 6. The only remedy that suggests itself is for C.C. to put into force in the British Zone the provisions of the Report of J.I.C., incorporating in a complete system of Document Centres such Centres as already exist, and prescribing for their officers the duties for the protection of archives and control of Exploiting Agencies laid down in Annexure 5 to that Report.
