12. These movements represent, approximately, an increase of 200/300 aircraft (thought to be transports) in Russian strength in southern Roumania and are not regarded as important, considering numerical standards prevailing in the S.A.F. Later information indicates that some re-organisation has also been going on in the 5th Air Army. It is known that 280 aircraft have recently been given to the Bulgarians by the Russians. In regard to Yugoslavia, the present strength of Russian and Yugoslav air forces is estimated at approximately 110 aircraft comrpising fighter and ground attack types.
