(c) Estimated Strength and disposition of Trainer type aircraft. Unless in the meantime part are withdrawn to the Inner Zone (which is not improbable), there will be about 700 trainer aircraft divided as to 300 in Malaya-Sumatra and 400 in Java. Some 75% of these may be equipped for suicide purposes. Serviceability is unlikely to exceed 55-60. 7. Although part of the combat type strength has been equipped for suicide purposes it is considered that only in exceptional circumstances, such as when damaged while operating in an orthodox manner, will they adopt this role.
