8. It will be responsible for ensuring the co-ordination of intelligence activities within the British-occupied areas of Austria and for devising suitable machinery for the exchange and co-ordination of intelligence with the other national elements of the Allied Commission. Report 9. The JIC (ACA) will report through the permanent chairman, Head of the Intelligence Branch, to the British Commissioner and GOC, his Deputies or to such other persons or agencies as may be designated by him. 10. Its primary function will be the production of notes and appreciations on subjects of joint intelligence implication.
