ENCLOSURE BRITISH ORGANISATION FOR INTENDED HANDLING GERMAN DOCUMENTS AND ARCHIVES 1. A Panel under the Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee consisting of representatives of Service Ministries, the Foreign Office, the Control Commission and Government Archivists, charged with the following duties: (a) Supervising the removal of documents and archives; (b) Ensuring that individual action on documents and archives by any ministry or agency does not conflict with the interests of any other user; (c) Advising on the destruction or removal of documents in order to prevent their future use by the Germans.
