The German Government is operating partly from Berlin, where skeleton staffs have probably been left, and partly from, we believe, the Weimar-Erfurt area to where the OKW and the main ministries have been moved. It may well be the Nazi intention to move the Government eventually to the SalzburgBerchtesgaden area. To Sum Up 7. The speed of our advance has made it difficult to form any clear impression of conditions in occupied territory West of the Rhine. The apathy of the people and the disorganisation of normal life is so great that no major threat exists to our security in this quarter.
