ANNEX DRAFT TELEGRAM From: A.M.S.S.O. To: S.A.C.S.E.A. For D. of I. from J.I.C. Your SAC 6925/INT of 11th April. Following are our views. 2. Your (A). We believe Japanese would take over control if they considered it necessary to stamp out any impending revolt and that they would try to take over whole country, giving first priority to security of their Ls. of C. through Siam. If necessary, they might bring in additional troops, possible 2 Div. (less one regt.) from Southwest Indo-China plus such forces as are able to withdraw from Burma.
