Exchange of Information with Russians on German V Weapons. Report by J.I.C.

1 Mar 1945

4. There are several important intelligence objectives concerned with the rocket within the likely Russian sphere of operations. The most important of these is the development and practice centre at Peenemunde. It is probable, however, that when Peenemunde has been overrun by the Russians the greater part of its technical installations will have been removed and there is evidence that this process has already begun. 5. There must also be valuable German documents dealing with the possible development and intended scale of the German offensive by all their V weapons.
