TREATMENT OF GERMAN DOCUMENTS, RECORDS AND ARCHIVES REPORT OF SUB-COMMITTEE NO. 1ø (SET UP BY THE JOINT INTELLIGENCE SUB-COMMITTEE) + TERMS OF REFERENCE 1. (a) To recommend amendments to the British and U.S. Draft Directives on German Archives, Records and Documents. (b) To prepare the necessary draft detailed orders and instructions for the use of SHAEF, Control Commission etc. DRAFT DIRECTIVE 2. In implementation of paragraph 1(a) above it has been thought best to make a redraft incorporating salient features of both Directives; wherever possible, in the original words.
