Admiral Mountbatten is also opposed to this project because he believes that if General Wedemeyer were to provide the air lift required for the plan, he would draw on the American air resources now supporting operations in S.E.A.C., claiming with the support of the U.S. Chiefs of Staff that these resources re, in fact, at his disposal. 8.
