11. With the loss or neutralisation of their airfields in the Mandalay area, the bulk of the Japanese air forces in Burma will soon probably be based on the Rangoon and N. Siam airfields, using the few airfields in Central Burma remaining to them simply as advanced landing grounds. Subsequent Lines of Defence in Burma 12.
