MALAYA GUNFIRE 155 In view of the decision taken regarding DRACULA, the Future Planning Section have now to recast their paper on Malaya for which you provided estimates of Japanese opposition in your J.I.C. (44) 413(0). 2. The Future Planning Section will be re-writing their papers on the following assumptions:(a) A British fleet will be operating with U.S. forces in the Pacific. (b) Operation CAPITAL will still be in progress and DRACULA will be launched in December, 1945.
