c. to hold SALONIKA and the STRUMA Pass until the Islands and the Greek mainland have been evacuated, meanwhile passing withdrawing forces northwards by road, rail and air into SERBIA. d. to hold open the Serbian and Macedonian L of C during the withdrawal from CREECE and to ensure the security of all main lines of communication in Northern YUGOSLAVIA in the event of further retirement being necessary. 3. Conditions Essential to the Enemy for Carrying out his Plans. a. Continued use of all available air and sea transport space and favourable weather conditions to complete the evacuation of the Island Ring.
