2. In view of the strength and efficiency of the night fighter force, single engine night fighters will probable be employed by day but in view of their vulnerability, twin engine night fighters will only be employed by day as a last resort. 3. Increased use of Jet and rocket propelled aircraft will be made but will be limited by production capacity and trained pilots. The number available for operations will probably not exceed a total of 150 of both types by 1st October and provided production is not seriously affected.
