10. The Effect on Eastern Germany of Entry by Russian Forces. At the time when the Russian forces are entering Eastern Germany a considerable proportion of the population will be principally concerned to try to remove themselves from the area of Russian occupation in order to escape from the reprisals they fear the Russians and Poles will inflict on them. 11. Fate of Nazi Leaders. Once the protection of the Nazi machine is withdrawn, the Nazi leaders will have as much, if not more, to fear from their own people as from the Allies.
