6. Purely from the point of view of Russia's technical ability to wage war, it would be possible for her to engage in hostilities against the British Commonwealth at any time. She could certainly have the resources with which to attack the British Commonwealth within the next ten years if she saw sufficient advantage in doing so. Areas in which disputes might arise 7. The area in which friction between the British Commonwealth and Russia could most easily arise is the Middle East and particularly Persia and Iraq.
