would undoubtedly require remedy as soon as the Allies were in a position to pursue their offensive. At this time the enemy would probably first try to squeeze 2-3 divisions from the BALKANS. The provision of the further necessary reinforcements from other theatres would depend on the battle situation at the time. AIR 7. Air support for the German Army in ITALY is already virtually non-existent and there appears to be no prospect of appreciable reinforcement. It is estimated that up to 50 enemy S.E.
