The serviceability of the above forces would probably be as follows:MB DB/TB LB/FB Fighters 75% 75% 80% 80% (c) Between D Day and D . 7 the above forces would be strengthened by reinforcements moved south from Hokkaido and Honshu and by D + 7 it is estimated the following forces might be in operation:MB DB/TB LB/FB Fighters Total 240 240 190 1075 1745 (d) By D + 15 the following further reinforcements might have arrived from Formosa, China and Manchuria. These reinforcements, however, and those envisaged in sub-paragraph (e) below, would not proportionately swell the total air forces available, because while new production, in-put, repair and reserves should be sufficient up to D + 15 to make good very heavy losses, thereafter a certain proportion of the units engaged will have to be withdrawn in turn for rest and refit.
