Scale of Opposition to Dragoon Report by J.I.C.

It consists of:(a) Midget Submarines. (b) Human torpedoes. (c) M.A.S. boats. (d) 2 men assault craft (probably armed with one torpedo) (e) 1 man assault craft (probably motor boat with explosive head). (f) "Limpeteers" and saboteurs. Information so far is vague, but it appears that the following numbers of craft are or shortly will become available:2 6 8 180 ton U-boats completing at Toulon One man assault boats. or more Two men assault boats. Human torpedoes number unknown. Directionally controlled torpedoes fired from the shore are also being installed for the defence of harbours.
