To:The Secretary, Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee. From:The Secretary, Inter-Services Committee on Chemical Warfare. The Inter-Services Committee on Chemical Warfare recently submitted a Report+ to the Chiefs of Staff on a proposal by the Prime Minister to reduce the number of personnel engaged in the manufacture of gas and gas weapons. The Committee recommended that no reduction should be made until after the "OVERLORD" assault, when the matter should be reconsidered. The Prime Minister accepted this recommendation and directed that the matter should be brought up again at D + 30.
