1 Apr 1944

ANNEX DRAFT TELEGRAM From: A.M.S.S.O. To:A.F.H.Q., Algiers U.S. St. A.F. Repeated J.S.M. Washington. COSMED.......... .......... May, 1944. Following for General Wilson and General Spaatz from C.A.S. Reference COSMED 71. 1. We consider that priorities for bombing effort in South East Europe given in COSMED 93 and confirmed in COSMED 99 remain unaltered. 2. Danube was open again to restricted traffic at end of April. Mining of Danube therefore remains of great importance. As an ancillary to mining, attacks on Giurgiu would be more profitable than on Turnu Severin.
