As the result of bombing attacks on Germany's aircraft component and assembly complexes and the damage done to factories making accessories, in particular those in Berlin, there is now such an acute shortage of parts and accessories that in an effort to maintain production of complete aircraft stocks are being recalled from advanced issuing depots in the field and even from operational units on the fighting fronts.
