As, however, it is seldom possible to separate the military from the political problems, it follows that it will also be required to produce politico-military, and, on occasions, purely political reports. It will receive political advice from its political members. 11. It will be the sole source of intelligence appreciations to the Joint Planning Staff, AFHQ. RELATIONSHIP OF JIC(Middle East) TO JIC(AF) 12. JIC(ME) will continue. In matters concerning Mediterranean Operations, JIC(ME) will submit papers to JIC(AF) who will forward copies to JIC(LONDON) and JIC (WASHINGTON) with final comments; copy of these comments being sent to JIC(ME).
