Intelligence Organisation South East Asia and India Commands Note by Sec.

5. To ensure co-ordination, to assist D.M.I., G.H.Q. India in carrying out his dual role, and to enable the intelligence organisation of G.H.Q. (I) to discharge its responsibilities to S.E.A.C. as set out in the Appendices to this letter, it will be necessary for a copy of all communications on intelligence matters from components of 11 Army Gp. and of all naval, army and air intelligence situation reports affecting S.E.A.C. to be repeated as at present by their originators to G.H.Q. India (D.M.I.).
