We believe that the Germans will have anticipated these contingencies and will do what they can with their available resources to keep control in Bulgaria as long as possible. They must at least ensure the Security of Bulgarian communications, as they are the only Bulgarian economic resources in which they are especially interested. It has already been appreciated that in existing circumstances and giving the Germans their best case, the equivalent of two or three German divisions might be spared from other commitments in S.E.
