5. We consider therefore that we should count on five Japanese divisions being in Upper and North Burma and that dispositions will be :Arakan and Bassein Two divs Kalewa Kalemyo Mawlaik one div Mawlaik to Tamanthi Two divs less one regt Mogaung Myitkyina One div plus one regt Salween One div Notes : (a) It is assumed that the Japanese will have replaced casualties by Nov. 1944. (b) It is assumed that, consequent on 144 Regt Rejoining 55 Div, 213 Regt will rejoin 33 Div in the Kalewa area.
